A biscuit's best friend ~ Sausage Gravy.

  • (Serves 3)
  • ½ lb. ground pork sausage
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 ½ cups of milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Brown sausage over medium heat and then remove from the pan.
  2. Melt the butter in the pan and add the flour. Cook stirring over medium heat for two minutes.
  3. Add the milk into the pan and stir constantly until thickened about 5 minutes.
  4. Return sausage to the pan and add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately.
